More a case of us not willing to pay £6m and £30 grand a week, and rightly so. He'd jump at the chance of signing for us.

Perhaps the "negativity surrounding the city's big two" is more to do with neither manager showing any desire to pay inflated prices for his somewhat meagre talents.

Well thank f*ck for that. He's came out and hopefully stopped all the shit every transfer window about him going to Celtic or Rangers. He really isn't that great. Let him stay where he wants - obviously away from the Champions League.

Thats the best thing about him rab, he could play 3 or 4 different positions for us. i'd love him to come here but i wont lose any sleep if he wants to stay in the championship

i dont understand wot he means by the negative press recently about the old firm, i know its the manchester riots for the huns, but what about us.
the only thing i can think of is that he is loved by a lot of scottish people coz he plays for scotland, so if he joined celtic or rangers one side will dislike him which he wont like imo

I was gonna say, as a celtic fan i'd have thought he'd have jumped at the chance to play for his team as well as in the CL, but that does kinda make sense.

He means he doesn't want to be under scrutiny with the media all the time as glasgow is a gold fish bowl and he prefers playing outside of that. I don't think it's anything to do with anything else.
Also I don't think hes good enough to better our team at the moment.

IMO he has no interest of playing at the highest level he is playing in the championship with no chance of europe, i just hope this is the last we have heard of the McFadden rumour, he is not a out and out goal scorer so why would we be interested in him Maloney is a better team player than him anyway and works hard for the team. McFadden is all about personal glory and is way too gready.
FAO Mr J McFadden PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM CP YOUR NOT NEEDED OR WANTED.

What a little fucking prick, weather or not he wants to come and play in Scotland has nothing to do with him, a known Celtic fan, putting us in the same media spotlight as the huns, How fucking dare he. To be quite honest, I'd have given him more respect if he had joined the fucking huns but he has done much worse by coming out and saying shit like that and basically saying he thinks we are cunts too.
FUCK HIM THE LITTLE SPOILED CUNT, LAST TIME I CHEER HIM ON!!!!

This sounds to me as if Big Eck has been like well I won all these trophys with Rangers and then had a few bad seasons and It was like living a nightmare, you are always under the public eye wherever you go ....etc
sounds to me as Big Eck has pulled the wool over his eyes in an attempt to get him to stay with the Brum
