WGS and Peter Lawell are not stupid. They are gonna do their upmost to get the best deals for Celtic and I for one back them in everything they do.
Peter was heavily involved with both Gravesson and Balde's contracts. You sure your comment is justified???? Personally I'd like to see more results that reflect our ambitions without recourse to numpty signings. We all know who the bad signngs are. You add all them up - guys bought on the cheap [some not so!!!] and you have one bloody good player. So less quantity and more quality.

Hopefully just paper talk to wind up the Gers even more.

And you know for a fact this player wouldn't get into the first team? Have you forgotten how prone the whole of the defence are to making mistakes?
How do you know which players will and will not make the first team? Do you know if Crosas ever will? What about Mizuno?

Anyone that slates Peter Lawwell does not have a clue. He was only doing what both Mon and Wgs wanted at the time.
That man has done so much for our club, all he is doing here is playing a game, clever man, trying to make rangers pay more money for a player, and Kieth Jackson felt the need to splash it all over the Dailly Record,

Never really seen him play, so I'll leave the judgement to the management.

must have already signed for the huns and then they say he picks them over us
so the huns can get a bit of feelgood factor back.

he actually is a no bad player, he dominated us in that friendly.
i'd take him to annoy the huns, AND, he would be good backup to have, as it would keep mick and gazza on there toes, similar to the way JVOH became good again when samaras joined.

He wouldn't sign for us and get automatically into the first team, no. Tamas and Bassa, who are far more experienced at a higher level and would have cost more, would.
He may make it into the first team if there was an injury or if someone goes on a horrendous run of form. I just don't see the point of buying someone who won't go straight into the first team when we have two good prospects at centreback in reserve already. I'd rather have the money spent on a lb or a creative mf or pacey striker.

I couldnt say if he wouldnt go straight in to the team over tamas or basa....what have they done to prove they are better players?? I dont think Romania have an abundance of top defenders so tamas doesnt need to be top class to get a game...although i do accept he looks solid.
Spending top dollar gurantees nothing...look at larsson, moravcik, mcdonald....then consider gravesen and donati..

Tamas was playing in the Euro Champs and played pretty well in the group of death alongside fellow defenders Chivu (captain of Inter isn't he?) and Rat. He played in the French first division which is a higher level than the championship. Basa could have played for any of the Balkan states but has opted not to at the moment.
I'm not saying that money guarantees anything. What i am saying is that at the moment we have two established international defenders who have played together for two years, having won the league title and gotten to the last 16 of the CL both seasons. Do you honestly reckon WGS will drop either of them for a player who has never played in either an international, a European game or the top flight of a major league? I don't think so.
I think we now have a squad where i'd rather we brought in players who were definitely better than what we have already and would go straight in the team.

I dont disagree but im not sure tamas or basa are going to be much better than loovens. There ae no gurantees.
Plenty of avergae players get to euro champs.
