however, could be for all sorts of reasons why we aren't loaning him to Hibs. they could of asked to take him but for us to pay for his wages. in which case we may as well keep him.

i have said for months i think celtic have something up there sleeve with wee deek. i think they might be helping the guy with personal problems or whetever something is going on anyway because celtic are reluctant to sell him. The other thing that tbh stuns me is the riordan is so quiet he has not been in media since his last outburst and has not made any comments. I think celtic have got this wee guy going giving him targets, putting him on the right road and getting him in the right frame of mind and getting his head down in training....................but only time will tell

Would rather see him sold tbh. Can only think that maybe teams are trying to get him on the cheap, and Celtic, quite rightly, will not be fucked over.
Better for all concerned if he gets a transfer somewhere.

Got to agree mate.Celtic must want to keep him otherwise we would have sold or loaned him by now.id like him to stay,only if he was to start playing, as i think he would get us goals when we need them,hes a much better player than killen imo and hes played more games than deek just a shame about his attitude.

yep i agree with that too. i personaly want riordan to stay and would love to see him right up top with vennegoor of hesselink none of this winger stuff. I like skippy but imo riordan is faster, fitter, beter finisher beter at free kicks and crosses and has the attitude to get right in about it. imo if he had gone to rangers he would be banging them in would hate to see him and boyd up front i personaly think this guy would be in the scotland team if he was getting his game with us.

I'd have rejected the loan too. Hibs are the first to demand outragous fees for their mediocre players, so why shouldn't they pay for their purchases too? They were qucik to rob us for 4.5 million for Scott Brown, so they can go and swivel if they think they can sponge players off of us on the cheap.
To be fair to Strachan, I can't see how he could possibly play Riordan after his stupid outburst on the back of the papers. I'd have knocked shit out of him.
He's binned his own career, not the board or manager.
