Saviola and Quaresma have had the opportunity to join us on a similar deal that was offered to Crosas, but they both refused. i had heard of the Saviloa deal and he rejected us for a loan deal to Monaco, never heard of the Quaresma deal though.
if these were the sort of talented players we were interested in bringing here through this deal, Crosas looks even more of a bargin. if more Barca youths have his attitude, ambition and mentality, we should see more and more Barca youngsters don the hoops.
Lawwell also gave a hint that this deal could be employed with us and other European big guns young guns as it benefits both clubs and the player in their development.
they do not have first option on our players.

Petrer Lawell said that Celtic tried to get these two on loan but they refused, hardly surprising to be honest, it didnt say when though it could have been a few years ago?

nah saviola wouldn't leave Real, and if he did he would be crazy.
