On the BBC Sport Gossip page, Strachan wants Sean Davis from Pompey for £2.5m.

Wasnt there something about him ages ago on here, saying he had rejected a move to Celtic? I reckon the papers are clutching at names now to be honest.

If we are going for Crosas, then I doubt this is true, they are both central midfielders, and personally I'd go for Crosas over Davis any day.

Thats the chappy mate, I was just heading out the door for work and my fucking laptop was playing up, was slow as fuck.

Like the man says, if we are getting Crosas, and it looks pretty much done now, then I cant see it myself. We'll have Robson, Hartley, Brown, Donati (?) Sno (?) and Crosas all for 2 berths.

Agree completly with the fact we have enough centre mids.....hes not shite but duno if we could get a game and for 2.5 million i would rather put that towards gettin a top class defender than over filling our midfield! If you put sky sports news on now they are just about to talk bout it after the break! They were talking bout how he could be playing champions league football next season....must be with celtic!

You are attacking our manager over a transfer rumour that hasn't been confirmed by anybody involved by the transfer? Strange.

This story doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Why would we be willing to offer 2m for cm when we are on the verge of signing one and we haven't got rid of the two that are surprlus to requirments (Donati and Graveson)? This story smells of an agent trying to stimulate interest in his player IMO.

Are you thinking of the same davis mate? Sean Davis is english and with a name like sean I can only imagine that there is Irish in his family

We've plenty of midfielders. Maybe if Sno had went to Osasuna then maybe, but no need for him now. Plus i think he's pretty injury prone if i'm correct.
