3 dud strikers - good take the piss out of the Huns, and i liked the "hacking Lee Naylor" part as well..actually quite like Robinson from what i've seen though (quite a bit last year), but i see what you mean buddy. That and the fact that Naylor could easily come onto form again (although i think his positional sense is diabolical at times).
SPending for the sake of spending's sake will be the downfall of the Hun, and it's good to see we are not falling into the same trap.

totally mate, we do need to build our squad a bit but only if its worth while, as it stands there is
Hinkel
Wilson
Doumbe (if he is still alive)
Naylor
Caddis
all able to play left back, so Naylor will have to get his act in gear. perhaps he should vomit on the left flank a bit more as players are reluctant to exploit us down there when he does lol

Brilliant - esp "if he is still alive" which resulted in my lucozade exiting through a nostril with great haste (and pain).
When Hinkel first came, he was meant to be equally adept on both wings, so i'd happily see him and Wilson on the right if need be.. just as long as the Rock of Gibraltar (Caldwell) is not there - good end to last season, overall as ropey as me on a Saturday morning (which is saying something).

Haha!, trouble is, Both our Bhoys at the back are of equal Liability for us, Caldo is so up and down I tried to do a "round the world" and "walk the dog" trick with the fucker (thats YoYo tricks to the youngers ones among us), they need a good role model and by that I dont mean a leader but only a player that can consistently defend each week to show them a match lasts 90 minutes and not one tackle.

Agreed entirely - i was really impressed with Tamas as he's calm, and actually looks like a FOOTBALL player! It's all good doing a J Terry and dispatching every time it comes near (McManus), but he has Carvalho next to him, (see Vidic and Rio as well), and it's that combo that is so vital - fingers crossed Tamas comes and does the business for us.

Defo, we should give them shots each of playing next to him till we get a good Duo if it means "Captain Courageous" Has to ride the pine then so be it, and let Boruc take the arm band for a while (extra staying insentive).
But first.
LETS SIGN THE FUCKER!

Fair one - at least with Jarosik, Strachan said he was an excellent professional and he left on good enough terms...
Hope i'm wrong, but Donati will probably be on his way back home in January.
Tommy G = fud.

Strachan last night;
"I am not going to rush into it.
"We have another couple of weeks, and I have a team in my mind for Sunday.
"So it wouldn't make any difference if we added before then.
"It's no secret I would like to add one or two players to the squad, because I think the players deserve it; they have done very well over the last three years and deserve fresh blood, enthusiasm and ability - so we are trying to find that.
"We have our targets. Doing it is a different thing altogether - I wouldn't think there is anything imminent."

BOLTON want West Brom full-back Paul Robinson in exchange for centre-half Abdoulaye Meite.
The Baggies had a £1.5million bid for the Ivory Coast defender, 27, knocked back.
But Reebok boss Gary Megson will let his old club have their man — if they give up Robinson, 29.
Megs said: “They made a bid and we didn’t accept it but our chairman Phil Gartside asked whether we could do a straight swap.
“The offer is with them now so that is where we are with it.”
