aye, heres hoping. heard last night that he was travelling down to Sunderland today for talks. no source, just what i heard through the grape vine.

All this non activity at CP has made me nervous, what with the new season about to start & Franz Caldwell Beckenbauer still our first choice centre half !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I believe it was Mr Macrae yesterday (on here) that said the reputed 70k between them is based on bonuses as well (appearances fees, blah blah blah) to look after our own interests in cases like this, but it will still be a big knock off our yearly wage outgoings - should result in a Tamas appearance. |

That's exactly what worries me too! If we don't sign anyone, Strachan should be shot. I'm all for not buying players for the sake of it, but are you trying to tell me he can't find someone better than Caldwell for the money? Surely he could afford Tamas. Surely he could afford someone like Russell Anderson(even for back-up). He could definately afford my granny and she's better than old square heid too! |
