I honestly dont think he will be a player we will take. I would like it on the short term but I just dont see it happening. In my opinion he will stay in spain where Barca can keep and eye on him.

Hope we get this guy. will be something finally exciting happenin in this transfer window. Rangers have signed a lot of shite, and we dont have anything to worry about in the spl but we need a few champs league quality players.

Well Lyon are hardly a feeder club for Barca and they had him last year.

I think the people who are slagging him for his size have a valid point, but technique can go a long way to solving that problem. If he can shield the ball and properly go into a tackle, the only time he'll get knocked off the ball is if he gets fouled. Just look at Xavi and Iniesta, neither are big/fast, but they rarely get outmuscled because their positioning is so good.

I think he could have the quality that Donati was supposed to give us, I say get him in on loan. We have a lot of midfielders, but they aren't exactly dripping quality.

Not at all bud - it was the "buy back" clause that interested me as well - Barca obviously not wanting to lose out in case he turns out to be a f^cking legend!

This actually sounds pretty promising, although i still hold the doubts i had at the start about his physical presence. No qualms about his talent though, obviously.

there is no buy-back clause. a buy-back clause is when theres a figure in place. what the Record has reported is that they have first option. this is if we choose to sell, we have to tell Barca first and allow them to speak to the player before any other club(s). this would be better for us, as if he becomes class we can charge a high price insted of losing out on money with a figure set in place beforehand.

he can of course reject them if he wishes.

hopefully, its a loan deal first of all to see if he suites the SPL. obviously, we would have a set buy clause in the deal to make it permanent if he becomes a star with us.
