L'EQUIPE.FR Foot - Transferts - Le Celtic attend Basa
Translated.
The series continues Marko Basa. Courtisé by PSG in July, the central defender of Le Mans is very close to engage with Glasgow Celtic, according to information from L'Equipe. The Scottish club expects more than the "yes" for the player out of his drawer contract already written more than 7 million. But the Montenegrin always thinking, especially since the Spartak Moscow and Hamburg are on the lookout

Another FootyLatest story today;
According to a report in this morning's L'Equipe in France, Celtic are now just waiting for Marko Basa to put pen to paper to seal his move to Glasgow.
It says that now all is required is a "yes" from the player, as the contract is already prepared for an amount of €7million, but they say he is still pondering offers from Hamburg and Spartak Moscow.
It was thought the deal was dead not long ago when it was reported that the Le Mans president Henri Legarda said that the player had decided that he didn't want to move to Glasgow.
So it is a bit confusing as to why L'Equipe think he is close to signing, but as with all Celtic's transfer dealings so far this summer, it is a case of "Let's wait and see."

If that's the case, the Croatian Bhoy from yesterday will never let us live it down...

tbh, either Tamas or Basa would be great. i'll be glad when we finally get or men in. Basa's reported fee is £5m roughly. bit expensive, hope he doesn't turn out to be like that other defender we signed for £5m.

its because he kept talking out his backside, saying Tamas was the problem as he wanted alot of cash. how does he know that? could it not be that we had stalled the deal and played Basa and Tamas off one another to get the best deal? could our primary target of been Basa and we stalled Tamas' deal when we were given encouragement to approach Basa?
he knows feck all and couldn't back-up his conspiracy.
