This is the reason our transfer dealings have to be carried out stealthily. If the truth where to be told Blackburn actually have more players that you could consider genuine class and could go for big money than we have i.e. Santa Cruz, Bentley, McCarthy, Gamst-Pedersen.
The reason for that being not because they're bigger and better but because they reside within the EPL and a)can afford to pay far bigger wages than we do due to the TV revenue and b) attract players that want to play in the best league in the world.

agree with most of that.
i think we have more class players.
Boruc, Nakamura, Mcgeady, Mcdonald, Robson and hinkel.

i agree hammer with your point that we need to carry out transfers in stelth, but i think because of this we need to carry them out quickly.
but then this blackburn thing might just be his agents trying to hurry up a deal

Celtic are exploring a possible move for Romanian international defender Gabriel Tamas from Auxerre.
Sources close to the player have told BBC Sport that a meeting will take place in Paris between the 24-year-old and the clubs on Thursday.
However, Celtic have refused to comment on any transfer targets. Tamas, who has 35 caps, signed for Auxerre from Spartak Moscow last summer and the French club are thought to be seeking a fee of around £3.5m.

i think if hes not signed before the southampton game he wont sign atall.
To be honest i think the only players WGS is gonna sign is McCourt, Samaras, and a CB who is hopefully Tamas.
