Can't say am to bothered about losing Samaras to be honest, he done pretty well and had some great moments for us but he doesn't strike me as having the right mentality to be a big player for us. £3 mil extra in the transfer kitty.

It says in paper he is on 30k at City. Forget the 3mil he is never worth 30K a week. He would never trouble any defence in champs league

I've got a wierd feeling that wherever he goes, he'll do quite well for them... but I still don't think he offers us anything we havn't already got..

Does no one else think that we could be making a mistake here?
Samaras is only 23 and has bags of talent, I doubt we would be able to pick up someone of his calbire for less than 3 million anywhere else.
The guy scored priceless goals and without him we would not be champions right now.
The goal v Motherwell for me propelled us towards the title.If Hull or Stoke are getting him onloan why dont we do the same and bring in another top class striker?
I really think all top clubs should have 4 quality strikers to choose from and imo we will regret it if we don't sign Sammy.
There was this myth going around that he was an impact sub who flattered to device when he started matches but that was just rubbish.
He started in 4 spl matches to my knowledge and scored twice.he got crucial goals v ict and aberdeen.As well as Hibs.

good point, the thing people forget is that he is only 23
but u could never see him troubling a champs league defence, but with time u nevr know
