It's in this morning's Sun as well... can't see him going to the Huns what with their 465 strike options that they have already...
Would take him back in a second though - an undoubted talent.

He's not a striker.... though it is a secondary role.

Id take him back, forget as this "made his bed, now lie in it" nonesense, a talented young player, WGS could work wonders with him.
If he go's to the Huns, he's a spineless mercenary, debate settled.
If he wants to come back, then a out right statement that he would never play for the Scum, that would possibly endear him back to some of the support.

Yeah, I highly doubt it. But a statement would only do him favours

MMMnnn.
Still heavily linked with him & McFadden, we know WGS likes to have a high Scottish contingent - but I can't see us fitting these 2 & McGeady, Naka into the same team.
We don't have a striker to play a 4-3-3.
Maybe one of either, but not both.
I'd take Maloney before McFadden, because I think he can play in more positions & would be cheaper.

I cant see him going to the huns tbh. I would rather have him on our team than against us.

Good point.
He may also now realise what side his bread is buttered & if he came back he would (IMO) want to prove himself to the fans & win them back.
He could really push Naka for the RW slot, if Naka ain't in the team Maloney & Robson would still give us a dangerous option at freekicks - one from each side.
A swop for Naylor would suit me fine, not sure about adding any money to the deal though.
Villa only paid 1million & Naylor is roughly valued at 2million.
I'm up for that, think we paid about 800k for Naylor including Mulgrew.

I'd take him back in a heartbeat. Of course there will be a section of the celtic support that will be of the ''made his bed'' opinion, which is why I agree with marcybhoy - he should go out his way to endear himself back to all the fans

Sounds like more papertalk to me. It's too easy, esp the part that he's willing to go to either club. I'll believe it when I see it.
