Maloney shafted WGS and Celtic after we looked after him during a horrendous career threatening injury.
And we gave him a new contract whilst he was injured.
Then he jumps ship on transfer deadline day.
Let him sit on the Villa bench, whilst they play some plumbers from Kazakhstan in the Intertoto Cup.

CLubs have no choice but to stand by players when they are injured....they could hardly sell them. They also get insurance to cover wages.
Celtic offered him a contract as we thought he was good enough but he wanted to go...fair enough, everyone has that choice.

He's actually a very decent guy (shamedly used to play in the same cricket team as him for a few years - lucky f^cker's an all-rounder at every sport), and just wanted to have a pop down south to see what he could make of himself - would love to see him back at the Hoops, would be an excellent signing.

I think we need to step back and look at this.
Is he a good player - Yes
Can we get as good a player for the money - Probably not
Will he improve our team overall - Yes
Does it make good business sense for celtic - Yes
Is he a little shit for leaving us in the first place - Probably Yes
There you go the Yesses have it.

bringing back the best player we had in the last 3 years is a 'backwards step'. A guy who would still McGeady aside be our best outfield player and is what? 24? Check your head mate.

Hope he comes back will only make us stronger cracking wee player and no his days hes better than Any one in our 1st team ,Bag's of skill and end product something Mc geady is missing ,
Will give us a good squad depth he can cover both wings and Play as a striker if need be ,
Let's not 4get naka leaves next season , Mc Geady can go to right wing Maloney on the left simple,
For us to let him join the huns would be a massive mistake ,

I cant believe anyone can say Maloney is not good enough to be at Celtic, think thats just bitterness IMO. he is good enough, i think the question is where do you play him and who do you leave out.

He could really push Naka for the RW slot, if Naka ain't in the team Maloney & Robson would still give us a dangerous option at freekicks - one from each side.
A swop for Naylor would suit me fine, not sure about adding any money to the deal though.
Villa only paid 1million & Naylor is roughly valued at 2million.
I'm up for that, think we paid about 800k for Naylor including Mulgrew.

Arent anywhere near the level of Nakamura's freekicks though mate, so we would hardly score any
