If the interest is genuine, Maloney should be careful what he is saying. He may find it difficult enough trying to convince a certain section of Celtic fans of his return, without coming out and saying he has no problem joining the huns. (if true of course)

I'd take him back if he was the same player (or better) than when he left, i don't want this to be the same as the rangers, blackburn ferguson saga where he comes back shite (even though ferguson was crap before)

i hate fergie as much as anyone but his form before he went down south was exceptional, like mc stay at his peak

Maloney would be welcomed back from me but he wouldnt get a shout in the 1st team because Mcgeady Is Better than him and younger i think and Nakamura Is just nakamura u can't take him out and plus strachan won't because he says he is most talented player hes worked with so i think money can be spent elsewhere and we have big PAT MCCOURT for back up

Would take Maloney in an instant... Him and McGeady on either wings - I don't care what anyone says that would rip up the SPL and cause any team in Europe problems.

I would take him back in a second. I dont think he has to make any comment about him gonig to rangers as was suggested above...its paper talk. Dont beelive everything you read.

p.s He has every right to go to Rangers if he likes....yes he played for us but hes not a supporter. For me it will be money related...and so it should be....it is for me in my career.

naka would be the first player dropped if shaun came back. shauns free kicks are just as good, his passing is excellent as is his finishing and his work rate is better. the only rerason naka hasn't been dropped before is because we have no alternatives
