i have have decided not to slate any celtic players this summer after all every single player pulled together to win that league and to slag any of them imo is wrong lee naylor had a fairly poor season but ffs when we where SHITE against hibs this guy saved us with a great goal.

bet you where jumping about that day with relief so ffs get off the guys back he and every other players back we should be praiseing these guys

Naylor was never going to better his first season performance, and i think the pressure of that got to him. Looked jaded last season, yet again not bothered wether he stays or goes

Why, If players play shite there is no need to try and defend them, every player has bad days and some just don't make the grade. Yes, back them, i back everyone in the Hoops but to say they are brilliant when they have performed poorly i don't think is right.

thats just my opinion i would defend all celtic players at the moment cause i dont think we really have a bad player and after what they done i feel they deserve massive credit especially players that tamster slates donati riordan naylor i think there all brilliant winning us that league

Hey guys, seriously, Naylor had a good first season, but he really didn't turn up come the end of season run in. Fair enough he may have had the odd, ok game, but he had loads of utter pish games at a time where everyone else was busting their gut to make the impossible happen. Truth be told, he was carried by the rest of the team and had we had another left back on the bench, he would have been hooked. Look at the last away game to motherwell, he got the hook cause he was just awful. Gary had a great game, but he needed to cause Naylor was wimping out of big challenges, was three or four steps behind everyone else and just didn't look interested or concerned for that matter.

Its cold hearted maybe, but look, we need to improve the LB position and if it means letting him go and forcing us to get one, even two to fill the gap so be it. For me LB and a proper DM is our priority. No offence to Hartley, i think he great, embodies what you want: grit, fight etc, but he's not a trained DM nor does he really have the legs for it, especially in the CL where DM is so important.

I agree with Trezeguet on this one. Thomas Gravesen has been pish poor for us but Madrid bought him because he was great at everton, Riordan is a class player and strachan even said "hes the most natural finisher at Celtic"

Riordan is more than worthy of wearing hoops and its not up to a fan in wales to tell him hes not.

An if anyone saw Naylors 1st season they wouldnt want to force him out, OK he didnt do that well last season but he was terrible was he?

Remember Caldwell trying to play RB? now that was terrible and you shouldnt slag off Naylor. Why would MON want him if he was pish?
