Martin O'Neill should not be knocked for leaving Celtic to look after his ill wife and it's disgraceful for anyone to suggest it was a ruse to get out of his contract. Cancer is a serious matter. Look at Tommy Burns. I don't like the idea of him coming back to Celtic and attempting to stripmine us of our assets, but that has fuck-all to do with the reason he left Celtic. Waken up.

arturs agent said that theres only a few clubs could tempt him to leave and it would take a great offer as he is happy here and hasnt said he wants to leave . he also said that even though he stated he wanted to try spain or w/e he feels he still has work to do at celtic and is in no rush

This thread has got ridiculous, I mentioned the feeder club bit just as a bit tongue in cheek. How can anyone slag Martin Oneil of, he got this club back on the European map, and he left us to look after his wife to say anything about that is a disgrace.

Well when he came to Celtic, who did he bring from a previous club ? Neil Lennon. He's doing his job, and hes good at it. Like someone said he put Celtic back on the European map and got us to a uefa cup final so be grateful and don't turn your back on him cause of a rumor about villa wanting Boruc, half of bloody Europe want him.

First and foremost MON brought us success and pride back to the team after years in the wilderness and for that alone im eternally grateful.He probably believed he had took us as far as he could at that time.Then he moved on,end of story!!!As for boruc,i think it would be remiss of him if he didnt have an interest in him.As previous people have said half of Europes top teams APPEAR to be interested in him.I personally think Villa arent big enough but if they paid silly money for him i think Celtic will sell to the highest bidder.
With regards to a feeder club,i would certainly hope whenever we get new managers they would bring their best players with them.

I`m glad that Martins wife has had a recovery from the cancer that troubled her. Since Martin left CP it would appear that things have gone well with her and she is in recovery. I have not read one article on the topic since Martin secured his job in the premiership.
