I think if wgs can / could get him then he would at the right price . He is a good player and if he is at a decent price ie: 3 mill then go for it

Don't mean to be a pain in the ass, but could someone copy and paste the skysports article on here? I'm on a Mac and for some reason it won't let me open the skysports website. Cheers

FFS! get your story right. we offerd an end of season loan deal to Everton for McFadden, then Birmingham offerd cash. Everton accepted Birmingham's offer and rejected ours. McFadden had no choice to join us or not.
get your facts right before judging the player you fool!

He never turned us down! We bid to take him on loan, Everton rejected and then accepted a bid of £6M from Brum, we never bid £6M so he never had a choice.

Birmingham has rejected 5.5 mil and Bobo for Faddy according to Sky Sports.
Heard this was happening two days ago but had no info about figures. Also the rumour I heard involved Riorden as well maybe that will be the next offer.
Anyhow hope this comes of as Faddy would be a good signing for us maybe a bit over priced but if he does the business then as a fan the money makes no difference.

Thanks guys. £5.5M AND Balde is a fucking excellent offer. Didn't realise Birmingham were so wealthy they could turn that down.

link? because the SkySports page i looked at just said we're interested, didn't mention an offer.
BBC Sport say that the £5.5m plus Bobo is bullshit

Celtic cool McFadden switch talk
McFadden joined Birmingham for £5m from Everton in January
Celtic have distanced themselves from reports that Birmingham have rejected a £5.5m offer plus defender Bobo Balde for striker James McFadden.
City chairman David Gold said McFadden, 25, who joined Blues from Everton in January for £5m, was "not for sale".
"We want to keep our best players to help us get back to the Premier League as quickly as possible," he said.
Meanwhile, City have failed in their bid to sign veteran Czech Republic striker Jan Koller from FC Nuremberg.
Sources at Celtic told BBC Sport they have not expressed an interest in the Scotland international.
Despite City being relegated from the English Premier League last season, McFadden said he had no desire to leave St Andrews. MY SPORT: DEBATE
What do Celtic fans think of James McFadden?
McFadden, who worked with City manager Alex McLeish when the Scot was in charge of the Scotland national side, said he was determined to score goals for Birmingham.
Balde is not part of Celtic manager Gordon Strachan's plans and has been unable to break into the first team ahead of captain Stephen McManus and central defensive partner Gary Caldwell.
The 32-year-old, who turned down a move to Sunderland at the start of the season, is contracted to the Scottish champions until 2009.
Birmingham look to have missed out on signing Koller.
The veteran striker, who played for Czech Republic in the Euro 2008 finals, instead appears set to join Russian Premier League club Krylia Sovetov Samara. Blues had agreed an undisclosed fee for the 35-year-old with Nuremberg and were ready to offer Koller a two-year deal. But his country's record goalscorer has received a more lucrative offer from Krylia.

lol I read that post 59, and for a second there I thought we were in for Koller!
Theres no way Birmingham wll accept anything less than 5mil for him, and Celtic aren't going to pay that! so I don't think this will happen now!
