Speaking of which, he has been included in the Swedish national side for Euro 2008, coming out of international retirement.
Good luck to him.

Any of the folk saying he's shit etc actually watch football? Beggars belief at times it really does.
He's Birmingham's best player by a mile, won all their player of the year and goal awards and could play for any Premiership team possibly barring Man United and Chelsea. The rumour is pie in the sky because he would probably never contemplate joining us never mind not being good enough.

its a wonder if you watch football. so you say he could play for Liverpool and Arsenal? lol no chance. he was on the books at Arsenal as youngster and they sold him because he was and never will be their class. i'll doubt we see him move to a top half EPL team in the summer.
your making him out to be some sort of world beater.

I know who he played for, i know why he never made it and im telling you he'd be a part of any Premiership squad other than Man United's or Chelsea's. He'd be pushing for the starting 11 of every team bar the top 4 as well just to compound the fact we won't be signing him.

Arsenal at the time were brimming with genuine quality midfielders, look at the guys they've released and look at the midfield they're left with.
Players at Arsenal will not always make it but they'll go and have superb careers. Look at Upson, Pennant, Bentley and Larsson all international quality proven Premiership talent.

Sometimes a change of club is all it takes to bring the best out of a player. Its happened too many times to count. Harry Redknapp is a master at turning players around.
Larsson is a talented centre mid who is only going to get better and I dont agree with you Hammer, I think he WOULD sign for Celtic if we showed an interest.

i remember watching him help Birmingham get into the premiership, he was outstanding, his range of passing, shooting, free-kicks, and vision are all excellant. to be fair - he had fabregas, rosicky, gilberto, hleb amongst others to contend with.
hes still very young. although, im not sure if its worth the risk, we should stop buying players that we 'think' are good enough, as even the best can fall flat on their face.
its a hard one, but id go for a loan deal if possible.
