The attendance isn't actually as bad as people think. It's just because they play in gigantic NFL stadiums which regularly seat 70-90k, and when you just have 20k it looks like a cavern. And yes, Adidas sponsors the league, but Nike is an American company and is heavily involved with football in other areas (they sponsor the national team set-up). Herbalife is a second rate company which tries to make herbal supplements and energy drinks, but still hasn't become very big. They sponsor the game because they see it as an investment. College-aged people like myself (and I assume Iontach) have grown up watching the game on TV and playing the game, so when we are all adults with purcahsing power, it should be one of the major sports in the country. These companies want to capitalize on that.
cmilkbhoy- MLS averages higher attendance than the SPL, on average, even including the OF and they would have a higher revenue on average if you take out the OF. Also, the Italians call football Calcio.
Anyways, sorry for getting off topic, but back to the original post, Jozy won't sign for anybody anytime soon. I wish he would though, I hate RBNY.
