If the permit gets rejected then we can appeal as we did when we got Petrov, as he is young and has just broken into the national team then he could be granted one. It would go to a panel of football experts.

Surely Celtic FC will be granted his permit? He will bring revenue to Britain with Celtic FC sales in Japan. If he doesn't I think there is some orange handshakes going on.

Mizuno is this guy's surname.
Naka's first name is Shunsuke but Japanese always have their surnames first when they're writing it so you'll sometimes see it in the Japanese way of Nakamura Shunsuke.

His first name is Koki.

Personally I'm absolutely excited by this news, hope it'll happen. I rate this guy as the brightest young talent in Japan alongside Honda (the guy who scored that sick bend freekick).

Mizuno is seen as one of Japan's brightest stars

Celtic are looking to further strengthen their squad with the signing of Japanese midfielder Koki Mizuno. The SPL club applied in December for a work permit for the 22-year-old J-League star and should find out within 48 hours if it has been granted.
Mizuno is out of contract with his club JEF United and is seen as one of the brightest prospects in Japan.
Mizuno does not qualify automatically for a work permit because he does not have enough international caps.
However, a panel from the Department of Employment will soon sit to make a decision.

His arrival could see Celtic increase their Asian merchandise sales, already boosted by Shunsuke Nakamura.
Celtic have signed Andreas Hinkel from Sevilla for £1.9m in the January transfer window.
Japanese midfielder Nakamura arrived at the club in July 2005, in a £2.5m deal from Reggina.

To much of an attacking side there in my opinion, i couldint see Nakamura doing a Lennon role and Brown would be just a waste if he did it, would rather like to see..
