Im going to list some American players with alot of potential that Celtic could sign... These are my opinions and since I dont watch the MLS some of them might be wrong but what I get from international games.

Oguchi Onyewu- He's out a favor with Standard Liege. Can get in the mix for goals. And a decent defender.

Charlie Davies- Plays in Sweden. Tons of potential and speed. Chinese defenders seemed to be afraid of him after he came on as a sub.
Lee Nguygen-decent midfielder still very young but PSV has him.

Clint Dempsey- If he ever falls out of favor at Fulham. Buy him in a second.

DeMarcus Beasley- Probably the most talent on the US team. Sometimes tries to do much like Dempsey. Otherwise hes good. Out of favor at PSV.

Justin Mapp- Pretty good midfielder. Will be on the MLS All-start team for sure. 22 and could easily be a squad player.

Michael Bradley- Son of the US manager. Anyways from his 2 appearances this year looks like he could be someone special and hes only 19. Plays for Heerenveen

Thats stereotypical. These are all youths. How do you know theres not a great player coming out? Because there hasnt been one in the past?

Maybe because soccer is just building steam here in recent years...

I know dempsey plays well for the usa team but does he play good at fulham ? He has only scored one goal this season.

Well gaffney there is an adjustment to be made for the EPL From the mls.

1 goal in 10 appearances. See how he does next season or in COPA this year.

I think in a few years the U.S.A will produce some exellent players there are some really good players even though he played for the huns Cloudio Reyna was class. Freddy Adu and Landon Donovan are usefull players (I doubt Donovan will ever leave the mls) when u think of the population the size of the place and how fast the sport is growing i say in 5 years time that will bw the place to do our shopping!

i like Mcbride as an outfield player the man is a proven goalscorer. he is a tough sob too after the whole elbow thing in the world cup. if we sign any american id say go after him.
