Robbie first of all isn't good enough and he's a liverpool fan why would he be a everton fan ? he has played for liverpool since he was 18 or something but wasn't good enough so got sold.

Had to Wikipedia Fowler to check a few facts. The first thing that surprised me is he is still only just turned 32. That utterly amazes me as his career has been on the slide for about 8 or 9 years when he ceased to be a first choice at Liverpool. I remember at the time thinking how the edge/ sharpness/ pace had gone. I didnt realise he was still only about 23 or 24. Thats very young to decline and almost certainly down to him being a party animal. He has had a funny carerr so far this decade, constantoly blighted by injury a lot of the time although his goals ratio is still impressive. Personally I would be disappointed if we signed him cause strikers are usually (Larsson aside) losing their edge about 33 or 34 so it would be a really short term thing and would waste resources on huge wages. He could certainly do a good one season turn in the CL for us but that woud be very short sighted. The pressure for CL success could tempt such a move but I hope not. I say NO.

I read now he was a everton fan when he was 7 and when he was 12 he started to play for liverpool school boys so I think he more fond of liverpool.

Don't the huns have a 15k wages cap except for Bawwy obviously?
In his book he denies he was a Rangers fan.Just followed some of the Everton players who went up there.

Not good enough for us anyways.
File under Wright,Dublin etc etc

He'd still do a job for us in the SPL but we'd have to pay big wages for someone that can't cut it at a higher level. That's why we bought McDonald.
