Rangers manager Alex McLeish has vowed to battle on despite the Scottish champions losing further ground in the title race after defeat by Aberdeen. "It's horrendous for the fans," he said. "I'm absolutely gutted and hurting as much as they are.
"I must contemplate making changes for the game against Celtic.
"I'm sure the players will be up for it, but they know they are walking a tightrope with performances like that, but we have to keep battling."
McLeish was particularly disappointed with the first half at Pittodrie, his side finding themselves 2-0 down by the break.
"We dominated the second half, but we needed a goal and didn't get the break," he said.
"If we had scored early, it might have been different."
Rangers have now fallen 18 points adrift of leaders Celtic and the latest defeat follows their Scottish Cup exit to Hibernian.
McLeish said that defender Sotirios Kyrgiakos was substituted at half-time due to a groin injury, but he and others are not assured of their place for Sunday's Old Firm derby.
