Dear fellow posters:
Please read this post I have been writing
Where is the Celtic Passion gone?
Firstly I will start by talking a wee bit about this. The more I think about it, the more I agree with the Jungle Bhoys, and in all seriousness I think I will join them.
"More than a football Club" this is what we say about Celtic.
Quote taken from the Jungle Bhoys, "...and finally we had the card display against Dundee Utd on the first SPL game of the season when we wanted to spell out a defiant HAIL HAIL in white cards on a green card background, Unfortunately the "Apathy" word at the top of the page struck that day and for the small majority it was too much to ask to lift a piece of card above their head for ten seconds so it was back to the drawing board!"
The bit referring to "Unfortunately the "Apathy" word at the top of the page " refers to this extract at the start of the report which reads "Apathy is a horrible word, it means a lack of interest and concern. Surely it's the last word on earth you would use for a gathering of almost 60,000 fans every second week who congregate at a football ground to watch their team play, on most occasions, a vastly inferior team. It is a word that should never again be used to describe the way the Celtic support gets behind our team at Celtic Park"
In my opinion there is a lot of Apathy between Celtic supporters now days, and is something which we should all be working to fix.
The building of the new All-seater Celtic Park has brought a lot of comfort and "apathy" to our supporters, when in earlier years at the old Jungle, everyone was friendly and everyone was part of this family, this Celtic brotherhood!
Are we just becoming an ordinary football club? What happened to the Seville faithful which has won two official FIFA and UEFA recognitions as best supporters on the world?
How should we be treating our brothers and sisters?
I have always heard, that Celtic was a family, and my 250% Celtic supporting family has always said that we should do anything possible for our fellow Celtic supporters.
Is this brotherhood sense also dying away as the apathy grows?
The other day I bought the "Jungle Fever" (Official Jungle Bhoys fanzine) through ebay, my PayPal account was not working so I e-mailed the seller, asking him if I could possibly pay otherwise, he offered me other methods of payment, and after reading his email there was a line which stood up from all the rest, he said "no problem mate its in the rule book to help out fellow Tims if we can".
What is happening to us?
I don't know what causes this feeling, not sure maybe the new breed of supporters as described by "The Jungle Bhoys", but there is a sense of superiority toward other fans from some fans, this hierarchy within our fan-base and this feeling of superiority is inciting discussions and some feuds which get out of hand. And honestly are pointless!!
What is the real point of on-line forum communities?
In my opinion on-line forum communities are a great tool if used properly, the are a way of learning other points of view and putting your one across, they are a way of keeping in touch with people that share your same interests and they are a way of making new friends.
Only problem with on-line forum communities, is when you get people that will not tolerate a different point of view, creating trouble, in my opinion everyone is free to say and think what they wish, and that is one of the main basic human rights, which thousands of people have fought for and died over the years.
Some people have trouble communicating and some people have problems understanding and accepting other people's points of view, we should all remember that our fellow Tims might have a different point of view, and should try and teach them if we think they are wrong, the least thing we can do is accept it and live with it.
Right COTH, what is your point? What are you trying to get at?
Aha, this is where the post really starts, I appreciate you for lasting this long, please read on...
On the 5 of January 2006 some bhoy called Callum asked me to join this forum on the Internet, the forum
www.total-celtic.uk.tt, my user name on the forum Paddy.
He is a person I have been talking on MSN a couple of times, and a person that knows I could be trusted, therefore he gave me Moderator status on this website, just for the good of the website, and in the best of his intentions.
He also added some sections to the website in order to keep this forum in order and again, in the best of his intentions.
When the Owner of the forum arrived, he didn't take this changes well and banned both of us, I don't know about Collum and whether he deserves it, even though in my opinion I think he doesn't, I personally definitely do not deserve it as I have done nothing wrong.
Not only we got banned on that website but Bhoy Callum is getting some abuse here on Talk Celtic, a website which up until now I have loved and a website which I found to be perfect after leaving another on-line forum due to pointless feuds.
I am very disappointed to see TC go down this road and hopefully we will all be able to sort things out.
The point of this post is to show my disappointment at the way Callum is being crucified being innocent and by just trying to help.
Callum informed me about previous issues that have happened here on TC before, relating to him and other members, because I am not qualified enough to talk about those, I will only say that I am really disappointed at the present one, and that maybe you have been unfairly affected by the past.
Nearly Finished, and my conclusion is
That I refuse to keep a feud up, because it will ruin our brotherhood, I have been fighting for quite some time, so we can be proud of being the
best supporters on the world.
So this is my view on the current feud.
1. That Callum might have just been doing what he could in the interest of Total-Celtic.uk.tt and that you should think about what is really going on.
2. That maybe some different members have different ideas, and we should learn how to live with this different approach to things and that we should respect everyone regardless of what they are, as our Celtic brothers.
3. We are not doing any good to this forum and Total-Celtic by keeping this feud and pointing fingers like children and that we should learn to forgive.
Can we talk about this like mature adults and find a solution? I am hurting

to see all my fellow Celtic Supporters fighting and arguing with each other!!
Yours In Celtic!!
