at the way Pearson's agent is acting. It may be the way that agents ae supposed to act (trying to flog their player where they can) but surely the club must have some recourse against them since they have already made it clear that Pearson has a future at Celtic. If it wasn't for the fact that we might be shooting ourselves in the foot I would like to see Celtic do whatever it takes to put agents like this in their place and let them know that this "unsettling" of the player is not acceptable.

I thought the same thing centrehalf. His agent has just come out and started more talking after Celtic said they want to keep him.

I can't help but think he's useing this to his and Pearson's advatage should that be a future contract at Celtic or another club. A wanted player will command a higher salary. Maybe the agent would get a percentage cut of the fee if Pearson was to move? That would be motivation for him to encourage Stephen to move on.

As you say, it would be good if it was nipped in the bud before it grows its own legs.
