Celtic shirts in Glasgow
will be arriving in Glasgow tomorrow morning. at the risk of sounding a bit silly, is it safe to assume Celtic shirts are best worn only with Celtic fans at a match, or in CSCs? are they normally worn in local CSCs at pubs/taverns?

It is a bit different over here mate but the fact some people dont like certain shirts should never put you off wearing what you want. You just have to use some common sense ie dont walk into a Rankers club wearing it.
Welcome to the site Dillon and that is a great avatar.

i don't think it really is all that different over here when it comes to sports rivalries and "hated" teams. i saw on television just recently that a football (american) player's own mother was heckled and ridiculed in the stands by fans of the opposition. granted, her son was playing for the way team, but his MOTHER?!
but anyway, all i get are weird glances and questioning looks when i wear my celtic shirt. heheh

I'd say just cover it up, until you're at the match or until you see loads wearing them or until you get into a CSC if you get the idea. I wouldn't take any risks to be honest.
Also, thought I'd take the oppurtunity to let you all know, then green kit's a curse away! Artmedia 5-0 Celtic and Clyde 2-1 Celtic!
Dillon, welcome aboard and I'm kind of surprised about so many not knwoing what your Celtic shirt is.

thanks, glad to be here.
to be honest, i think the green and white hooped jersey would get more recognition ... only the "hardcore" celtic supporters would know what the away and alternate kits look like. but that's just my assumption here.
