They never cut anything, it was the live broadcast.
They have issues airing any music, sung or played through speakers. Plus the fact the birds tweeting etc... is intermittent due to broadcasting laws.
Storm in a teacup, I'd actually expect better from Times Online.

The "live" broadcast has a 15 mins delay. But you're right, they have issues airing any songs because the writers may chase em up for royalties.
I love the way they mention that the song is "popular with Celtic fans", despite it being sung far more at Ireland and London Irish rugby games.
