Nah I'm not, I think Hendrix is over rated and I just can't get into Led Zepplin.
So I'd be lying through my teeth if I said otherwise.
I know loads of people like them, but they're just not for me.

Hey a lot of my mates like them but it's just not for me I'm afraid.

I'd share your dislike to Razorlight and add Snow Patrol to my list as well.

All these bands are so bland imo.

Fair enough, maybe their latest, Zeitgeist, isn't the best album ever. Yeah, maybe SP have lost some flair without Iha and Wretzky, but Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness is an essential album to have.

Yes, so on to what I hate... I hate when closet/former neds try to pass themselves off as a trendy/indie-type, liking your generic 'indie' bands such as Oasis, The Kooks, The Fratellis, etc. For me, they're just as bad as scenesters.

You know the type.

actually surprised by some the inclusions in this thread cant believe anyone could hate the zepplin and jimi hendrix but i guess each to their own

mine would be in no particular order.....razorlight (seen them live and near fell asleep), madonna (time to retire), amy 'im famous for being a mess' winehouse (her voice just annoys me) any kind of pop music eg girls aloud, mcfly,

i notice you said you can't get into Van Halen either, not everybodys cup of tea, but Eddie is arguably the best guitarist ever.

I can't get into bands like Radiohead, Kings of Leon, The Kooks, Fratellis, Smashing Pumpkins etc...

If anyone says they hate The Doors, i will kill you.

Yeah, as a guitarist I realise and recognise that Eddie is a very talented guitarist. I have to admit to liking a lot of his fret work. But as a band they just don't do it for me.
I don't know if that will always be the case though.
I remember hating Red Hot Chili Peppers when I first heard them and now I really like them. Seen them live 3 times now including an amazing London show.
So maybe in the future I could get into Van Halen. Just now though, it doesn't appeal to me.
As for the bands you said you can't get into, I think it represents a good argument about why music is so great.
I love Radiohead and think they have some amazing songs (some bad ones too) and you say you can't get into them which is fair enough. It's the fact that everyone likes different things that makes music so interesting.

I have a friend who absolutely loves Stereophonics but I couldn't really care less about them now. I've seen them live twice and although they were a lot better the second time, I just don't like them anymore.
She thinks I'm mad that I don't like the phonics but like I said, different opinions on music keeps it interesting!
