Crocked Player Awarded £4.5m

BBC NEWS | England | Man Utd player wins £4.5m payout

They think he could have earned between 15./ 20 million so dont seem as big when you think on it like that , Fair play to the lad , but i find its disgraceful when you compare what a soldier gets for loss of a Arm or leg from Iraq etc ,

If a soldier signs up for the army it's one of the occupational hazards that you may very well lose a limb. If you're a footballer it's an occupational hazard you may break your leg in a dodgy tackle.

If your insured for it then fair enough i can see the point in that argument but the world has went claim crazy, we survived for hundreds of years with folk not getting millions of pounds for hurting themselves doing their job.

If you join the army you shouldn't expect not to get injured because it is highly likely its part of your job in the army.

its no really disgraceful, the soldier knows the consequences.

the player signs a contract, he's no expecting to get a horror leg break, the soldier probably is.
