Greatest sports currently not featuring at the Olympics?

Is it just me or does this current Olympics seem to be missing a little sporting pizazz?

Any half competent spandex wearing hormone snorter can go for a trot or a dip in the pool, which is why we only endure watching these events once every four years - so where are the games of skill and excitement?
As I sit at work there are a few glaring omissions from the Olympic programme that just leap out at me:

Bullrush/Red Rover (or local variant thereof). Imagine the atmosphere as Australia and the US are the only two left untagged.

Foursy Backs (possibly a rules variation where the first team to drop the ball gets a player shot).

Paintball (bring on the cross border grudge matches - Kosovo vs Serbia anyone?).

Trick Snooker/Darts/poker triathlon (48 hours straight, no sleep, finishing with the poker where contestants gamble their gold, silver and bronze medals as chips on the last day of competetion. Imagine the excitement when Equatorial Guinea cleans out the pot on the last day with a royal flush and goes home with 78 Gold medals!).

Miss Universe (while not a 'sport' in the traditional sense, this is a very competitive event and involves bikinis which should be reason enough to merit inclusion).

I think we should add competitive eating to the list. Except contestants can nominate to eat their national dish:
Burgers for Yanks
Poutine for the Canucks
Tacos for Mexicans
Sushi for Japanese
Pies/vegimite toast for Aussies
Curry for the English
KFC for New Zealanders
Sausage for the Germans
Deep fried curry for the Scots
Edible underwear for the French

Any other sports you would like to see pushed for inclusion?

This isn't a serious thread.

If it was serious it would be in the Olympics section of the forum.

Judo hockey and Javelin cycling (you get two shots at knocking off whoever is in front of you).

Perhaps combining weightlifting with diving to get some REAL momentum when they hit the water!

haha funny post there!

I reckon a good ole game of Ro-Shambo would sort out the men from the boys! For those unfamiliar, the rules are simple, 2 brave men take turns to kick each other in the plums, first to hit the floor loses!

Any1 up for a wee game?

Hun Tossing - by throwing the blue nose of a high building, preferably a sky scraper, see how many sommersaults they do before hitting the pavement, you get extra points for the most blood and gut spillage over a certain radius.

Just watched some equestrian . . .

What's that game they have in Afghanistan where they pummel the shit out of each other on horseback while fighting over a dead goat's carcass? Equestrian needs some of that, definitely should be a goat's carcass in there somewhere.
