Limewire Help
Hail Hail
Got a problem with my limewire the other day in when i went to the library random files came up and when i downloaded a song (joe mcdonnell) i could play it but when i dragged it onto the desktop it came up with an error saying the c:/programs/limewire file may have been deleted or not be able to write onto it. So i uninstalled it and downloaded it again and got to 88% of the download and the same message came up. Please help in need of some rebs. Ta

it's a quick fix
don't use limewire

only ever had trouble with limewire and frot wire....i use just torrents, never a prob.

Download and install a torrent program like Azaereus or bittorrent:
Azureus, now called Vuze : Bittorrent Client
BitTorrent
Then goto a website like I use isohunt.com or mininova.org where you do searches for movies, full albums or I think computer games and ahem x-rated materials. Anyway once you've found what you wanted on for example isohunt, you need to select the torrent with the most SEEDS. Seeds are people you are downloading from and so the more people you are downloading from the faster your download.
When you select what you want and the one with the most seeds, then click "DOWNLOAD THIS TORRENT" and then azureus will automatically start and hopefully you should be able to download the file no problem.
If its just music you want then thats fairly straightforward, if its movies then there may be complications like you need to burn what you've downloaded to a DVD-R or onto a virtual drive. I don't download many movies though so maybe someone else can help....
Apologies for lack of specific technical details but thats the jist of torrents.... Limewireis full of viruses so don't use it..

i know how to use torrent files just got a problem with limewire after like 50 years service from it and was wandering if any of you knew how to fix it coz its very rare you get rebs through torrents.
