Fucking disgrace this and I would like to see all the Scots pulling out including Andy Murray. It's about time we had our own team at these games anyway. I prefer the Commonwealth Games as it is easier to support a team.

lol people chill out they arnt banning saltaires this is media spin on it. they only ask for you to display the union jack as it represents all the countries in the uk. i think its more to ban tibet flags than anything to do with GB.
i think it would be better if we were on our own in it as well. would be good to see the football with just us in it. instead of seeing a GB team with all english players and the odd scot welsh or irishman

Its to stop people cramming the venues with Tibet flags. Now unless Tibet are in the final of somesort, I would agree with the ban. Last thing you want is every event turning into a fucking political pile of pish.

Probably not to be honest. I suspect the English flag will be “banned” along with ours and the Welsh and NI flag. The Union Jack will be the only flag from this Island to be waved at the games, as at the Olympics we are there as team Great Britain, not separate England, Scotland etc.
