I don't even know where to start on this ridiculous question. They had totally different motives and reasons. The KKK wanted to eliminate the black people of America for no other reason than the colour of their skin. They didn't care who you were, being black was enough to have you strung up on a tree ffs. As for the IRA, well they wanted to remove an occupying force from their own country who had taken over and treated the people like shit along with trying to remove their Irish identity...
