It's rife here in Malta. The police are openly racist, bus drivers, ordinary citizens. Thing is a lot of people over here don't realise they are being dicks.
I came across a website called ONLY IN MALTA and the discussion board is like a Nazi forum. They seem like ordinary people from Malta and all over the world, mostly Maltese decent, but the majority of them are fucking racist to the core.

Me? I'm so anti racist I get wound up to fuck when I read shite like is on that discussion board.

Most of the folk who I know that are openly racist are pretty stupid. Some do it unconsciously in what can be described as mild but ignorant remarks such as saying things like "Going for a Chinky", "has that wee Chink been in with those DVD's?" or "off to the Pakis for a cargo", there are one or two real morons who openly call black players Niggers when watching football in the pub. The scary ones keep stoom and march up and down the streets flying the Union flag, mouthing off only when they have police protection.

It really does my box in, because I've had it directed at me many times.. Most people are really sound but I've noticed it's mainly Huns that are Racist. My blood still boils when I think about what they said to me last week when I got caught up in the orange walk.... Although I will admit, 90% of Huns are not racist... and Celtic fans and people from all walks of life and whatever are not always innocent either..

hate it, mostly against black/colored people...but the remarks like chinkys etc are racist but not in a bad way imo, its the world we live in..

Racism and Bigotry are the same in my book. It's a real cancer in our society and to describe someone as decended from a monkey because they are black as some prick did on the OIM board makes me want to knock fuck out of them for being so fucking stupid.

in school we were on the computers researching racism.

and a bbc article had a picture of a pakistani guy, a chinese guy and a black guy.

and down below the pictures it said if this is a paki, a chinky or a darkie then you are a racist.

it had no pictures of a white guy saying, if this is a milkybar you are racist.

racism really gets my blood up, we're all the same ffs, we just look different, ignorant pricks.

No offence meant with my bbc story, if anyone is offended by it just give me a shout and i'll delete it.

i agree about the chinese thing in a way.

what i don't get is, we scottish people are called scots. shortened from scottish, so why is it racist when people shorten pakistani.
