What is the greatest achievement...
What do you rate as the greatest individual (non team) achievement in sport?
some examples would include, snooker 147, 9 dart finish, hole in one at golf, etc, etc.

A hole in one in golf, definitely. Just think about it for a second - how hard must it be to get a tiny little golf ball into a tiny cup about two hundred yards away? Nigh on impossible. Most of us would struggle to throw a ball of paper into a bin about five metres away.

By coincidence, I hit my first ever hattrick in league footie last night. It wasn't a great team we were playing, but I'm still well chuffed. Two tap-ins and a lob from outside the box. We're halfway through the season and I'd only scored one before yesterday!

I think there are a good few to choose from.
Hole in one definitely is outstanding, but I've heard amateurs doing it.
147 at snooker is an amazing feat.
9 dart finish is almost unbelievable, and very rarely done on the big stage.
Any short to long distance running is a great achievement.
Boxing to a world title.
There are loads.
