Book reviews
Anyone read any decent books recently?
I just finished reading "The Last Testament" by Sam Bourne. Not great to be honest. The story was decent enough but I didnt like his style of writing.
Im reading a book called "a fine night to die" by Jack Higgins - bloody excellent so far - I would highly recomment it.
I also fancy reading "the holy blood and the holy grail" - its supposed to be awesome.

A book is a set or collection of written, printed, illustrated, or blank sheets, made of paper, parchment, or other material, usually fastened together to hinge at one side. A single sheet within a book is called a leaf, and each side of a leaf is called a page. A book produced in electronic format is known as an e-book.
Books may also refer to a literature work, or a main division of such a work. In library and information science, a book is called a monograph, to distinguish it from serial periodicals such as magazines, journals or newspapers. The body of all written works including books is literature.
In novels, a book may be divided into several large sections, also called books (Book 1, Book 2, Book 3, etc).
A lover of books is usually referred to as a bibliophile, a bibliophilist, or a philobiblist, or, more informally, a bookworm.
A store where books are bought and sold is a bookstore or bookshop. Books can also be borrowed from libraries or obtained for reading through the practice of BookCrossing.

i really reccomend it, its about a guy who writes about how much he hates his wife and buries the book then in the future people find it and use it as their bible, he's a very witty writer. i also just finished the bourne ultimatum, a friend said i should give it a try and i thought it was a really good read. better than the movie

I have been reading a lot of autobiographies lately i read Duncan Bannatynes which was pretty good. I also just finished the crown of thorns which is a history of the heavyweight boxing title.

I was speaking to a musician the other day who toured with Steven Adler and he has Adler's assurances that a full G'N'R reunion is on.
Getting back to topic, I've just started reading 'Anam cara - Spiritual Wisdom From The Celtic World' by John O'Donohue. It seems so far to be an excellent read, and may hopefully give me an insight to what my ancestors believed before the arrival of St.Patrick.

The talk is that Axl owes Geffen so much money over the Chinese Democracy* debacle, that the only thing that he can possibly do to recoup the losses is to get the old gang back together and talks are at an advanced stage. This is all rumour, but if it did happen, I'd pretty much believe anything my source tells me regarding music.
*Also rumoured to be shit-hot. Not quite on a par with Appetite...but much better than the Use Your Illusions.
