World leaders at the G8 summit aim to set a target to halve carbon emissions by 2050.

ok im no expert. but i know the earth has periods over time where it heats up and cools down and its currently heating up or is in a warm period.. it makes me wonder if the whole global warming thing is an excuse for governments to get more money out of people. climate tax etc.

there is a chart up in my work that shows when it heats and cools and there is deffo a pattern there. anyone else have a thought on it?

think carbon emmisions are undoubtedly playing a part but also think that this is being exagerated in order to make money from taxing the shit out of fuel

The bottom line is what ever is happening to our climate it WILL have drastic effects on humankind I,m totally split between natural progression and the greenhouse effect both have good points to argue tbh .However I can,t do much about the earth,s natural cycle so if i have to turn the thermostat down a little or pay more for things i will

The other side of it is that governments are trying to get people to be less wasteful.

E.g. Its either build another power plant or everyone turn off shite they aint using.

Also its an attempt to reduce dependency on oil which is becoming a big problem

global warming is just another new world order scare tactic designed to give the governments even more power over the people by making us think that were the cause of all the "natural" disasters etc and we need our governments to sort this out for us (with kyoto treaties) and all this bullshit. its all about restriction.
