I think its oddly fascinating to watch the big staunch faces taking themselves very serously and even watched the uber-march on 12th July in Belfast once or twice which took about 2 hours to pass any given point on the route. I once even went with a mate (prod but not loyalist) to the 11th night bonfire (night before the 12th) in a really nororious loyalist area as a bit of a dare. Was absolutely bricking it and had brushed up on my Rangers facts and would have been the biggest teddy bear alive for half an hour if questioned. Bit weird maybe but I am glad I did it as an experience. I had other mates who were interested but wouldnt go near even the march because they were convinced they could be spotted as non-prods by the people who think they can tell by face alone. Its a weird world this.

its was not as scary as it sounds TBH - lots of grannies families with wee kids early on but I wouldnt have liked to hang around after they left.

Actually have had an idea for a thread...

got woke up the fuckers, thats the 2nd time they've marched down high street today. had to go through it to get my rolls for breakfast and in the 5 minutes i was walking through saw 4 girls of no more then 12 get stopped by the police for being in the words of the policewoman 'completely pissed' who then started arguing with the police, countless angry guys in rangers tops with eyes too close together (think kris boyd drunk) who found it the height of humour to randomly shout fuck the pope at such offensive things as lamposts. also seems to hav brought out every jakey under the sun or rain in this instance. a really classy bunch!

on another note its amazing how many of the tunes they're playing i recognise from listening to irish/rebel music. hadn't realised how many of the tunes are used by both sides, obviously with different words right enough

I unfortunately decided to go to the gym early on today and got abused by dozens of the hangers on on the way to the march on the train on their way to the walk when they saw my Celtic sports bag...

I got called a "paki fenian bastard" and the like.. they give me a few Hitler salutes as I was getting off the train.. what surprised me was the fact that the 45 year old durty ugly hun woman are just as bad as the men...

Fuking idiots calling me a refugee and shit... they proved their stupidity when they asked me where I was born and I said The queen mother's hopsital and she said.. "where's abouts in Glasgow is that, ya fukin immigrant"
It would have been funny is she wasn't so serious...
