I like Ian Rankin, not seen much of the new Rebus series on TV - but thinking of getting DVD set.

Mario Puzo is cool, Scicilian was probably better than godfather IMO.

Didn't like Lolita, just a bit too creepy for me.

One flew over the cuckoo's nest was a great debut & the movie was actually better than the book.

Stephen King movies don't generally translate as well onto film, but there have been some good ones from his short stories like Green Mile (installments) or Shawshank redemption.
My mate is a big Puzo fan and he is of the same opinion. He's been goin on at me for years to start reading MP's stuff but I haven't got round to it yet.

I thought that, too bad the film was rank

I'm reading Omerta by Mario Puzo right now and it's pretty good, haven't gotten too far though.

There's also The Godfather Returns and The Godfather's Revenge but they're not by Puzo, anyone know if they're any good?

Yeah have read that one 2, Its a great read, I love the way Puzo writes, but I just think the other 2 are slightly better.

Omerta is a good read also
