Probably the ONLY album, I've never got rid of.
I've carried it with me all over the world & never, ever get bored of it.
Best album of ALL TIME.
Tricky's solo stuff wiznae too bad either, but not a patch on Blue Lines.
Pity they never really lived up to that early promise, their later stuff was good, but not brilliant.

'Protection' was excellent as well, but it all began to go pear shaped after 'Mezzanine'.
The less said about 'Danny The Dog' the better.

Amazing album...never grows old.
Anyone seen them live?? The bass was so deep I could feel my lower bowel trembling

Mmmmm..... Some of the tracks are truly sublime but there is some dross on there.
Safe From Harm and Unfinished Sympathy are masterpieces but One Love is just rubbish.

I really like Massive Attack and Blue Lines is an undoubted classic.I dont rate Protection myself, its too patchy for me.If I'm pushed,I would say that Mezzanine is my favourite.

Its funny you should post that, I was talking about this the other day with a mate.
I had been listening to Screamadelica for the first time in yonks, and I was shocked at how badly (imo) some of it has dated. I said if you listen to Blue Lines it still sounds fresh and up-to-date, like it was recorded this year.
Cracking Album, fantastic debut !
