that programme with him tonight showed a really good side to him.
he also said on richard & judy(caught the last bit while waiting for the simpsons) that he is giving all his £300million fortune to charity when he dies. He has also stated that he wishes to get this figure up to £500million for charity.
That deserves some praise IMO

His book is a great read gives you some great money making tips, the only thing that spoils it is his navy fighting stories they are too far fetched to be true, taking on 3 men at once etc.

I respect people who can work all their lives and give away 99% of their money to charity...
Bill gates has pledged over £45 billion
Paris Hilton's granddad has pledged around £2 billion
Sir Tom Hunter has already gave away £1 billion
And now Duncan Bannantyne is also giving away a considerable amount
These men deserve credit and have my respect...
