Supermarket's and their Skips

Right.....im sitting with my brother in his car last week , eating shite from greggs in the carpark of somerfield on alexandra parade (east end of glasgow)....

some weird looking cunts are lurking around , funny to look at ...

some dude strolls down ,with a dog on a leash (my bro jokes he is going to raid the skip ) , he then goes towards the skip ,'BIFFA' on the side of it and a big plastic lid

he ties his dog to the fence thats about 2 feet away , puts down a rucksack then opens the fukn lid and goes inside !!

we're laughing like fuck at that moment !! 15 minutes later he comes out with what looked like battenburg boxes n shit , he then starts bagging stuff to bags he pulled out of his rucksack ,and even puts stuff back in ! hahahahah

........moments later a fukn fat geezer in a mobility motor winds round and parks beside the skip.....the dickhead inside comes out of the skip ( with more shite) and they chat asif 'awrite and sorry mate ' ,.....i guessed they didnt know each other

2 minutes later i hear skipman saying "see yaa" then the fukn mobility motor guy backed up into a bunch of trolleys , fukn LMFAO me and my brother hahahaha , comic timing

by this time im wishing i started recording on my phone !

the mobility guy rolls away ...the skip guy then appears to give his dog a drink of gear from the skip , FUKN TENNENTS SUPER!!! FFS

we're laughing so hard at all this at that point , then the cunt packs all his 'goodies' , 3 fukn bags of somerfield skip gear ,and whilst going away attempts to kick a supey can under a car , couldnt even manage that !!! fukn fell over !!

There's a warehouse over the road from where i work - BOOKERS they do a lot of fruit distribution and you should see the skip fulls of fruit they throw away every couple of days, becasue i work the late shift sometimes at 10pm, it's like the village of the damned some nights with all these cunts creeping up to the skips trying to see what they can nab before the security comes over.

Don't want to sound sad lads but good on them. When you think of the millions of starving people in the world and the amount of food that is still perfectly edible that is just thrown away in this country then i'm happy that some people have realised that there is such a thing as a free lunch.

It might not be for you and me but they are also getting one over on the supermarkets plus it is better for the environment that less things are produced and not consumed.


Did anyone see a program on BBC last year called "The roadkill chef". Basically a guy cooked in a restaurant using only things he had scavenged. He was up for cooking a badger he had found until a food scientist said that it probably had TB.

There was an episode of wife swap where these religious people did not believe in spending a lot of money on food etc so they went bin & skip raiding unbelieveable the stuff they got frm the skip would i do it myself? no chance. But it showed that supermarkets throw 2 much out even if i pack in a box bursts they throw the lot out somtimes.

I work in all the supermarkets around scotland repairing the refrigeration. There is a hell of a lot of stuff getting launched every day. the amount of bread from the bakery is unbelievable. Now i would not touch the food but i did pick up a cracking big suit case from Salisbury's East Kilbride, it had a wee hole on the seam but nothing the old maw couldn't fix! That suit case has been around the world and still going strong 4 years later.
