Mark Scott Foundation

After doing charity work this summer and getting commendations blah blah, I've literally in the past few moments been told I can run for the Mark Scott leadership for life campaign next 'season'...I can't wait... Basically it involves thing suck as meeting all the Celtic players, and unfortunately the Rangers ones too, and working directly with the clubs/chairpeople/players to eradicate sectarianism....
Along with a few other people we go on team-building exercises etc. (the youth players will go with us) and work to help stop sectarian violence and the causes of it. I'm going to work in a lot of community projects and stuff...

Just a wee question...what does everybody think needs to be done to tackle sectarianism in the local communities...

P.S guess what player I asked (begged) to be assigned with...
Artur Boruc... They said IF he's still here next season I can work with him..
Only problem is, It's gonna be hard for him to say sectarianism is wrong lol cos he's the worst on the receiving end...

sounds like a good opportunity mate. as for boruc, i'd say no. i love the bhoy but he does his best to piss off der hun, why not pick elvis or robson? they've played for both teams and would have a better perspective on the old firm divide

will do mate

clagan24..they were saying I can allign myself with Stephen McManus if I want to, I might consider him as he does seem better for this type of project..

Unfortunately I'm not allowed to be biased... how the fuck that's gonna work out I don't know as we'll be going in both ends for a half each during an OF derby....

I don't think that'll go well...

m8 i don,t envy you in the task of tackling sectarianism in local communities in some areas the divide is very deep rooted .i work every day in some of these areas and witnessed the hatred on both sides tbh the only way i can see it going away is through time.i say this because a lot of it is handed down through familys and the scary thing is its the older folk who tend to have the king billys on the wall n shit like that.,and when you talk to the about this subject there is real hatred spouting from them .where as younger folk tend to be bigots when it suits them.well thats what i think anyway

Good luck mate, you'll need it.

P.S, there would be no sectarianism if all the orange bastards fucked off.
