That ep probably sums up why I've never gotten into family guy, except from a few moments from Quagmire and Stewie nothing sticks out to me in Family guy and all seems thrown together.

i felt the same way mate, its easy to write and none of the jokes have to be in any way related to the plot. family guy does make me laugh but not as much as SP which is in a different class compared to any other comedy

Yeh with Family Guy I'll probably remember a couple of really good one liners but then if you asked me what ep it was from and what happened, I probably couldn't tell you.
Whilst South Park I tend to remember the entire ep, like the Scott Tennorman one I could probably give a good account on everything that happens in it.

1 of the biggest of family guys comedy is peters fight with the chicken and when he falls nows now and oooooo awwwww again and again, just didnt bring you into the episode at all

we have a tv channel over here called tg4 its an irish language channel and they showed the scott tenorman episode the other day in gaelic at half 6. was really weird watching people talking about pubes and listening to radiohead in irish
