pc f##ked
My audio is fukd , initially it went off , now its scratchy and making weird digital crash sounds ( whatever that means )
reinstalled the driver , changed speakers etc
no joy , pure fucked , it plays the audio / song from my pc or youtube but its fucking brutal
unbearable to listen to ....
helpppppppppppppppppppp

take your sound card out out smash it up in a rage go to a cheap pc shop buy a new one and put it in. problem solved

I agree with Marty, except for the smash it up part. Take it out, give it a wee clean (dust can settle and arse it up believe it or not), reattach and see. If it still continues change sound card slots (if you have another available)
Sounds like hassle I know but it'll help narrow down the problems and may save you some cash.

Is it a pci soundcard or onboard.Just wondering as you may have not disabled the onboard audio from within bios which could be playing funny buggers with the pci card.Failing that try a system restore to determine if its a hardware of software fault.

Its an onboard soundcard , iv opened up the pc cleaned etc
turned pc on and its still crackly

Try uninstalling the codecs...all of them, then doing a clean re-install of K-Lite Codec pack...google it, it's a freebie.

i know u have restarted ure p.c BUT have u uninstalled it first,,,if u go to settings then system u can delete from there ,then when u restart,,ure p.c will find "new devices",,it worked for me in the past

When you tried different speakers did you use the same wire to connect to your pc? could be that, or just on board connection is fooked
