Anyone here set-up/ran a CSC?
I'm thinking of setting one up as a Soc in our university next year. You get something like a €2000 grant, and I already have some connections within the music scene so I'd get a few gigs and stuff going.
I heard something about making it official with the club itself?
Can you get tickets this way?

We Started up one 2 yrs ago in a local pub in co.dublin, we had 5season books and 2 special season books(without rangers games)...
I started by emailin the celtic ticket office which is what you sould do..
I was told that i needed at least 20 members to start, each paying a yearly sub of 2pound each..
The contact i got in the celtic ticket office was sound, he answered any question we threw at him, and most of them sounded pretty stupid since we hadnt done anyting like this before..
He told us to get in touch at least 4 weeks in advance of home games we planned to go to with the number of tickets we required(not including rangers)
The tickets we got were north stand uppr most times..
Then you will need to form a committee, get a bank acc.(took us a yr) and contact a local coach company if you intend to drive rather than fly...
A benefit night is one way to go about getting it started..

email the ticket office,2pound, thats what the cost is to the csc from celtic fc, the rest is the coffers!!
the one we set up is 30euro per season but there are no monthly ticket sales required by members like some of the csc
For 50quid maybe he is gettin a csc tshirt or jacket?
You have to ask urself why join @50quid when u can nearly always get a ticket from ticket office, the only reason is travel? join the huddle club get ur own ticket and just pay on a csc bus day of game

Are you a student in Galway? Just wondering.
As far as I know, there used to be the Claddagh CSC running from Richardson's on Eyre Square, but they moved to Monroe's. I watch all the games in Monroe's now though, and although there's a good turnout of regulars, I don't think there's an actual CSC any more and there's definitely not a bus or anything.
If I could I'd set it up as an NUIG society (get the grant and stuff then, plus it looks good!) but it would be open to anyone, although I'm sure some would be put off by a student CSC
