Foreign channel

Was at the pub today watching the Celtic match and they put the game on a foreign channel, judging from the wee symbol in the right hand corner it looked like an Asian/Arab type channel. Does anyone know what this channel is and how to get it because i've noticed this channel in a few different pubs now about where I live. Looks like it shows all the Celtic games and it appears to have Setanta's commentators on it

I have a house down in the south of Ireland and we had one of those dishes there before Sky started down there. They are a real hassle to set up. You have to connect to a certain region and it will give you the channels for whatever country it is. But you'll only get the channels for that country. Also, it's really hard connecting to any other region apart from whatever one Britain and Ireland are in.

The ones the pubs have are probably a bit different, or even easier to set up now I'd imagine. The whole thing is a pain in the arse if you ask me lol

My dad actually sets up Eurosat boxes around Scotland for folk, they get you Italian, Spanish, Polish and German tv, not bad as you get Celtic and Rangers every game, ppv movies and a lot of other channels for just the fee to set up the sattelite.

Not that I'm trying to give my dad a cheap plug or anything..

Depends what your looking for, if you can find someone over in N.Ireland that could set up a Eurobox and install the satelite for around £200 you would get all Celtic home and away games on Polish tv every season but don't know if it'll work in N.Ireland to be hoenst.
