Just a quick reminder, if you upload ring tones (or any other items to Zedge) please make sure the they are not copyrighted. Many ring tones uploaded lately are copyrighted and have therefore been removed. We understand this can be very frustrating after spending time uploading them only to see them removed shortly after. Some users feel there is no warning before removal. I would like to take a minute of your time to show you what it says on every Zedge item upload page...
"Do not upload copyrighted, obscene or any other material which violates Zedge's Terms of Service . By clicking "Upload", you are representing that this item does not violate Zedge's Terms of Service and that you own all copyrights in this item or have express permission from the copyright owner(s) to upload it." - If you click on the Terms of Service you will clearly see the warning about uploading such items.
That is your warning! Please take a moment to read the Terms of Service to familiarize yourselves with our policies so your uploads are not removed.
We are working hard to enable new features which will help with these issues too.
Another point I must also address, the items being deleted are not up for discussion. The copyrighted deletions and other removals are not done by Zedge forum moderators or myself. This is a company decision decided by many different people at Zedge. The way to contact them is by using the contact system. They base their decisions on many factors including advertising revenue and legality. If they decide an item uploaded infringes on any of those items they will act accordingly. I assure you we do not delete for fun and we certainly do not discriminate whose items get removed -- why would we let you upload if we were just going to delete everything?
If you follow the rules as most users do there will be no problems with your items "disappearing"

I can't tell you the exact reason as to why your specific upload was deleted as we have many content monitors removing thousands of uploads every day, although I can explain in general:
- This is a public gallery and only content of public interest should be uploaded. Amateur photos, family photos, pets etc. will be deleted.
- Poor Quality items (not sharp, pixelated, incorrectly proportioned etc.) will be deleted.
- items containing illegible or irrelevant text will be deleted.
- items with defects / partial frames or edges will be deleted.
- items which infringe known copyright laws or protected brands. As well as items containing copyright and (c) tags. (These include, but are not limited too, English Premiership logos and items, Disney material, Tatty or Me 2 You, to name just a few, and many other copyrighted items will be deleted)
- items containing nudity will be deleted.
- items that were previously uploaded (duplicates and rip offs) will be removed.
- items in the wrong category will be deleted
- You must correctly name you upload as well as Tag it correctly. (Names or Tags such as "uieh,rfuhruh,fuhruh,gfgfggf,ghjfjhfj" will be deleted.)
- Themes must have the correct screen shots. One must show the icons or menus. The Description must be correct and must be in English.
Just use common sense and ask yourself: "Would I put this on my mobile if somebody else uploaded it"?
We get thousands of uploads each day and we must constantly moderate to keep good standards in the public galleries.
