Rangers players avoiding the green shirts again

Anyone notice how, YET AGAIN, the Rangers players all avoided pulling on the opponents shirt at the end of the game ? It happened before with Panathinikos , and it will happen again, IF the opposition wears green.

Why does this go unreported in the media?

It's a shameful act which panders to the bigots in the stand.

Only a keen eye would notice something like that because I didn't. Let them do what they want, the more they keep doing silly things then the less it will do for the credibility from other clubs in Europe so hopefully they keep it up when they're put out by the green and white sporting lisbon shirts

I agree to a point, if it were CELTIC the media would have highlighted it, not a poster on TalkCeltic, not paranoia a damn certainty. Let Rangers carry on with their insane hatred of anything green (even exit signs), it just adds to their ever diminishing popularity in Europe. As for the Barca tops, a few were after Ronaldinho's top, Caldwell got it and a few other went for grabs. Quite often a few are exchanged off the pitch, maybe it's Rangers policy - doubt it though, I favour their bigoted insane hatred of the green. Let's see what happens when the Sporting Hoops gub them.

Someone actually phoned the Radio Clyde phone in after the Panathinikos game to highlight this. Needless to say, it was laughed at. Interesting to hear the same happened last night.

Didn't see that myself but pretty pathetic stuff. No shirt swapping in the next round so with them playing Sporting Portugal and their nice green and white hoops.

OMG they've got Sporting Lisbon next !!!!!

How more obvious does it need to get when they don't pull on those shirts ?

If I'm wrong about this, and they do swap shirts with Lisbon, fair play to them, I'll be the first to say well done.

But we all know, that isn't going to happen.

I hope the media and everyone watching the game looks at this game very closely now.

I can't remember the last Euro tie I saw where at least one of the players pulls on the opposing team shirt. Its common practice, especially at the end of the 2nd leg. Now if the Rangers players never pulled on ANY opposing shirt, that would be fine. But you go back a few games and watch. The Rangers players do wear the opposing team shirts, and have done many times. JUST NOT when it's GREEN.

THAT IS THE SHAME OF IT.

A disgraceful practice, and its being swept under the carpet by the Scottish media.
