my two favourite download sites. you can download whole albums rather than songs here and there. good quality, i've downloaded around 1,000 albums from those sites and haven't got any viruses

i used to use limewire but its full of viruses and half the time what you download isn't what you wanted, i had to wipe my laptop because limewire had infected it with so many viruses, i'd advise to stay away from it

I just download the videos off youtube and then use a mp3 converter to get the sound file only

try the other sites i suggested earlier mate, its great for downloading full albums and you can go and search different genres, alphabetical searches and you can download an artists full back catalogue, its saved me a fortune. download as much as you can now before its illegal and the polis call to your door

I second the mininova site! great for music and movies! Its now had just over 4 Billion downloads! and it has comments too , to see that it is what you are after.
But you will have to download a bittorrent client first... I recommend you google utorrent! great speeds and east to use! If you search mininova for Discography.... you will get every album the particular artist has made!
Also... Pirate Bay, IsoHunt and TorrentSpy are good sites too.

For music? Soulseek.
For Movies? uTorrent (program). Mininova, Isohunt and The Pirate Bay (sites).
Mini, Iso and TPB all share roughly the same trackers and files but one is better than the other when it comes to finding what you need (bias towards mininova, here : P)

if youre searching for torrents btjunkie.org is quite a good site mininova i would say is by far the best though
